Universal Marine Center (UMC)

Universal Marine Center (UMC) is a full-service refit and repair facility located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s marine district. Offering deep-water access, extra-wide fairways, and slips for yachts up to 190 feet, UMC provides a secure, professional environment for both long-term projects and short dockside stays. The yard welcomes outside contractors, making it a favorite among captains and engineers who prefer flexibility and control over their refit process. With 24/7 gated security, ample parking, high-capacity shore power, and a dedicated crew lounge, UMC combines convenience with a relaxed, community-driven atmosphere.
